Today we first discussed a little about interesting parts that got stuck in our heads of the readings that were scheduled to read for this lesson.

After that, we got introduced to helpful strategies that we could use to improve our validation/analysis of the readings. Important factors may be the age, gender, sexuality, nationality, and career of the author as well as the year of the publication.

A general background information of the author and the «producer» may also be decisive. The direction of readings could also be influenced by different ideologies or even sponsorships.For the second part of the lesson, Dr. Joelle Bitton presented possibilities on how to enhance our presentations:
